UAW Local 2166 Guide—Mike Reyes
While at Local 696 in Dayton, Ohio, Mike was on Chaplaincy Committee, Veteran’s Committee, played on 2 UAW Softball Teams and co-organized a midnight basketball league. Hobbies include: reading, surfing the net, riding my Harley, family, church, and Hot Wheel collecting with my son. Prior Accomplishments/Awards: B.A. in Political Science, dual minors in Sociology & Spanish from McDaniel College in Maryland. Pursuing education at LBU and TX State Tech. College. Have a CDL, Certified in Critical Incident Stress Management (both Nationally and in Louisiana). Currently in the Apprenticeship program as a Stationary Engineer. Most Important Goals for Union Today: Work with Management to keep jobs in the U.S. and recognize that the common adversary is now Asia, and NOT each other. [Isn't Mike Reyes also the Chaplain?
