UAW Local 2166 Shop Chairman—Alex Santana

Alex Santana comes to the office of Shop Chairman. He was elected Delegate to the 2002 and 2006 Constitutional Conventions. Alex has held approximately 3 terms as Committeeman, Van Nuys, CA Local 645; Local 2166 Alternate Committeeman Final and mechanical reprocess 1995; Committeeman 1996; Re-Elected Committeeman in 1997, 2000 and 2003.

For fun and entertainment, Alex enjoys sports and coaching. He has enjoyed 28 years of marriage to a great and beautiful woman who has supported him through the many years of Union activities. He has five wonderful children and eight beautiful grandchildren.

Alex believes our future depends on keeping jobs in the United States and bringing people together in Solidarity.
